Full authentication is $50 AUD and includes an Autograph Alley Certificate of Authenticity where certification is issued.

Our 3-Tier Authentication Process
1. Human Expertise
Every autograph is personally reviewed using more than 35 years of collecting experience.
The assessment considers characteristics such as:

known changes in signing style over time
2. Reference and Provenance Comparison
The signature is compared with relevant reference material and, where available, supporting provenance.

The aim is to compare the autograph with reliable examples from the most relevant period possible.

They can also help identify areas that may require closer examination, including possible autopen use, tracing or mechanical reproduction.
AI does not independently determine whether an autograph is authentic. The final opinion is based on the complete evidence available.

Verification Details

Fee: $50 AUD per signature per artist (full band signatures included). This also includes postage to anywhere in the world.

If the item meets Autograph Alley’s authentication requirements, you will receive a COA with a unique hologram and number featuring an image of your piece of memorabilia.
